Job Summary

The Treasury Assistant will play a key role in managing the financial operations of our organisation. This role, in partnership with the Group Finance Manager, will serve as the central point of contact for transaction control, bank account reconciliation, and supporting the finance team in reporting on group bank accounts. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a “can-do” attitude, and be highly organised with excellent teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury Operations:

Monitor group bank accounts to ensure effective cash management.
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on balances and cashflows to senior management.
Manage intercompany payment schedules and ensure timely transfers.

Reconciliation and Reporting:

Perform bank reconciliations for group accounts to maintain accuracy.
Collaborate with heads of departments for quarterly reporting and analysis on departmental expenditures.
Support the Finance Manager (FM) and Regional Finance Officer (RFO) in preparing management accounts.

Process Improvement:

Assist in identifying and implementing improvements within the finance department.
Streamline processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
